Sue, aka Mom, sent me this picture of her mom, taken in 1945. She was ready for church. On the back of the photo is only says, "Byrtle's Hat." It was a proud Sunday morning, I'm sure.

I wish I had pics of that. They would not allow us to take pics out of Cuba, but someone somewhere on that island has my baby pics and pics of my grandparents.
I remember when all the ladies wore hats to church. Now you've made me want to look through some old family pics......
Priceless, Brenda! When I have the time, I'll look for photos of my grandmother, whose hats always looked like a flower show.
