Jennifer--Alabama

It's always good to get blogs restarted. And who better to restart People Who Wear Hats than with two of Alabama's finest. Jennifer, in the straw fedora, and her daughter were waiting for donuts the other night. (Do they really need to get any sweeter?) They apparently didn't have anything else to do, so they played with their cell phone camera. Ta-da.

Jennifer is an artist. She can take a string and create geniusy stuff. Flower art? No problem. Wall art? Yes, yes, yes! Creative photo art. Even hat art!

Her oldest daughter is a college student: her school's marching band drum major and has appeared in this blog before.

Next time you're traveling through Alabama, stop by. Tell 'em I sent you. You might get some cookie art.

Sisters--Florida

When our two nieces, April and Renee, get together, they get a little wacky. In a cute sort of way, doncha think? They are such happy little punkins. If you ever get to feeling blue either one of them can cheer you up. St. Patrick would have been proud of them, too.

And by the way: the girls in our family are the prettiest girls of all, doncha think?

My Grandson--Georgia...I mean Texas

Our grandson and his family traveled from Texas to Georgia for one of their many family vacations this year. Cool Grandson posed for this terrific mug shot while they were having dinner in the world-famous Varsity Drive-In there in Atlanta. Grandson is poised to be world-famous one of these days, too. He runs track really, really fast. Maybe he should play baseball, though. They give hats when your team wins the pennant. Do they give hats at track meets? Hope so.
